Ally Sheedy

Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy is an American actor from the United States. She was born on June 13th in 1962. Following her film debut with 1983's Bad Boys she became known for her role in the Brat Pack of actors and starred as a character in WarGames (1983) The Breakfast Club (1985) and Short Circuit (1986). Sheedy was awarded the Independent Spirit Award in 1998 as the most outstanding female leading role. The reason for this was her portrayal as Lisa Cholodenko in High Art. Ally Sheedy has been an American writer and actor for more than 20 years. Sheedy began her acting career with the crime film Bad Boys at the beginning of the 1980s. The film of Rick Rosenthal also featured Sean Penn and Esai Morales Clancy Brown & Alan Ruck. In the wake of her success with her debut film, she also appeared in the comedy drama The Breakfast Club. The film was written and directed by John Hughes is considered one of the best high school films of all time. Although the budget for this movie was $1 million it has made more than $50 million. She also began appearing on various television programs, such as CBS Schoolbreak. This was her first TV appearance. It was a show for teenagers that started airing from April 1980. The actress also appeared in other TV series such as Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid as well as Hill Street Blues. Her most recent appearances include Little Sister, a film about a super hero where Sheedy is an appearance in a minor role. Sheedy has received numerous awards for her exceptional performances, among them an award from the MTV Movie Award Silver Bucket of Excellence Award.
